• Overseeing Sound Department on the set of SNL’s Film Unit on a weekly basis for 10+ seasons. This includes recording and mixing, mic’ing high-profile talent, coordinating dozens of radio frequencies, monitoring sync with Camera Department, training and managing assistants, planning and executing the piece’s sound capture with ever-changing scripts in a fast-paced and high pressure environment.

• Operating boom and assisting Sound Department until 2021.

• Recording, mixing, and overseeing on-location sound capture for film, television, documentary, commercial video, and social media. Notable clients include The Daily Show, Ghost Adventures, Newsweek, Vogue, The Tonight Show, among many others.

• Studio: Recording, producing, and mixing records for musical acts of all genres in many studios in NYC and elsewhere. Applying technical and compositional knowledge to achieve an artist’s vision. Extensive experience with both analog and digital systems, consoles, outboard, microphones, and instruments. Live: mixing in a wide array of venues and recording live performances with mobile studio systems, most notably at Lincoln Center since 2021.

• Designing, planning, and executing entire studio systems including installing large-format consoles from SSL, Neve, Trident and Neotek with corresponding patch bays. Extensive experience wiring and soldering analog and digital connections from wall panels to patch point, as well as planning connection layout for intuitive and flexible studio use. Studios installed include Thump, La Fam Recording, and Light Show (Brooklyn). Repairing/upgrading broken or vintage studio equipment, both solid state and tube and recapping consoles.
