Supervisor: Dr. Hitt, Carroll College
Description: Conducted synthetic chemistry research involving multi-step synthesis, functional group transformations, and chromatography (HPLC, TLC) to purify intermediates. Utilized spectroscopic techniques such as NMR, MS, and IR for structural elucidation and reaction monitoring.
Outcome: Project is ongoing; expected publication pending.
• Role: Project Lead
• Supervisor: Dr. John Rowley, Carroll College
