- Began my career in the Air Cargo industry at Purolator Courier as a sort employee. After three months was promoted to Assistant Supervisor in their Systems Ops Control group.
- Went to CF Airfreight after Purolator was purchased by Emery Worldwide. Was promoted from Supervisor of Flight Ops to Director of Hub Operations responsible for all aspects of operations and a staff of 400 employees.
- CF Airfreight purchased Emery Worldwide, a much larger but poorly performing company in both operations and finance. At Emery I was responsible for 3,600 employees which grew to 4,200 over time. The position was made a VP and later included Global Logistics. In total I was responsible for $650MM in expenses each year.
