My job in the Tennessee National Guard is as a UH-60 Helicopter Mechanic. My duty is to help maintain UH-60 helicopters that are assigned to B Co. 1/230th assault helicopter battalion. My responsibilities include:

• Make proper repairs for any broken component
• Perform inspections for any potential part failure and make necessary replacements
• Maintain scheduled maintenance to prevent unnecessary downtime to any aircraft
• Asses operating conditions and adjust settings to maximize operating performance
• Fly as a crewchief for specific missions such as sling loads and firebucket operations

As an EPSC Inspector, my responsibilities included:

• Be sure that proper sediment and erosion control devices were properly installed and functioning correctly at construction sites.
• Complete proper forms for site inspection, and submit them to my Employer for the record.

• Operated a CNC burn table that would cut out parts with precision from diagrams uploaded to the company network
• Mig welder to build shipping container spreaders
• Operated various shop equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and grinders

• Used welder, acetylene torch, metal bending brakes and other fabrication tools
• Read and followed blueprints and weld diagrams.
