As rigging manager the primary duties are to over see rig team or to perform myself. Receive all of the new boats as they arrive from the manufactures for the sales department. Main objective to off load, inspect, rig, sea trial and PDI engines for sales department. notes any damage pre existing from manufacture or transport companies. Rig vessel by ensuring ready for water testing. This is to include Installing engines and rigging electrical and fuel, check and add engine oil, check gear oil, install batteries and loose items for vessel. this includes covers, shades, radars, props, cushions.

During rig process noting any issues or failures. filing warranty items with various manufactures and warranty department inner company. Repairing vessel components and scheduling fiberglass repairs or component repairs.

As part of rigging Manager duties is to estimate add on additions for sales and customers buying a boat and ordering the parts and installing them on the vessels.

As a Marine Technician i worked on various brands of vessel and engines to perform repairs. this includes gas engines, diesel engines, inboards, outboards, electronics, generators, air conditioning systems, plumbing and electrical systems.

in this period of time i went from a private boating club manager to fork lift driver to fork lift tech, fork lift driver and finally assistant marina manager. between all of the positions i was fortunate to earn i was tasked to:

• Prepared monthly reports and budgets to track revenue and expenses when needed.
• Scheduled staff shifts to meet business demands and coordinate adequate coverage.
• Assist with running the marina in an efficient and effective manner.
• Planned, organized, and coordinated special events and celebrations.
• Repair club and rental fleet to ensure customer expectations.
• Repair fork trucks and other machinery.
