I started working for Metropolitan Utilities District in December 1994, as a Pipe Layer Trainee. Progressively working my way up (Pipe Layer, Machine Operator, MDPE Welder, Utility Worker, Crew Leader, & Group Leader) Then 2017 went into Management as a Construction Foreman. My job function during these time was installation / repair of gas and water services and mains. Construction Foreman duties involved day to day operation of many crews and job inspection to make sure work was done correctly and safely. February 2022 I transferred into the Safety & Security Department doing Utility Locating. I am currently working in this Department.
