I am the owner of the business I started it back in 2020. I wanted to give construction a shot I've done construction in the past. The business was going well but with the cost of living and inflation not many people can afford to remodel or update their home.
i worked at speed for a few months roughly four years ago i really loved my job thought to be the best job i ever had i had all intentions to retire there if possibly i did oiling and greasing and a lot of mechanical work where at feel at home the for the first time in a long time i liked everyone there the bosses was great and then something very unexpected happened i was working at home on roof i had a bad headache and my back was hurting i asked
everyone for some ibuprofen no one had any and a guy spoke up said he had a pain reliever to help he sid take one and i did not knowing what it was trusting him he gave me a round white pill that would ruin my life
i got sick i knew something wasn't right one and a half days later i got drug tested and i never get nervous for one even this one but i was very shock and very hurt it show up as buprenorphine i didn't know what is was
but the small traces they found was enough so i lost my card but i fought and tried relentlessly to get my card back over a simple mistake that took my dream from me now i have managed to get my card reinstated and
planned keeping it that way i jus need a chance to prove and regain my name ive never had a drug issue its not worth it for me, my family, or my coworkers. i would really like too have a second chance to get back to what i love doing its been to long i dream of returning to the coal mining industries and prove my worth to the company it id a thought everyday on my mind to get back in the field and i hope nd pray someone will understand and give me chance to prove myself currently im a business owner and im ready to get back underground and help get the production level up as high as i possibly can.
silveroak mines was the first mines i worked at as actually a job underground beside me doing trouble shooting all across america for the shops i work at once i got started there i immediately knew this is what i wanted
to do i started out as a oiler, greaser than moved to changing opponents then i was giving a chance to show i can cut, weld, weld and fabricate very well they decided to put me on fixing and replacing shield an the equipment
along with changing bit lugs on the miner and feeder they notice that they would last till they wore down instead of breaking off they put me on changing components troubleshooting hydraulics and i did very well at that
at the same time i kept my equipment up with oil, and grease "serviced" i really loved my job i also did alot of electric work with a electrian with me i worked on power centers all equipment i did splices on all cable was taught
how to do it right by this time they had me doing outside work work and anything else alot i would volunteer so i would have the experience
i helped with move crews, stoppings, air control,i can run jus about every piece equipment underground working in shops building them all helped alot im good with a scoop and with a buggie and miner i can run a bolter all
day just need a little practice bolting top silver oak bosses and electricians liked me because i would get what they wanted done best i could in a responsible amount of time with what i had and it worked great i was heading for a good future there but didn't get
the chance to fullfill it i would really like to get my electrical card and move forward from there i would like to find me a job where i can retire and help the company be as successful as possibly
