Learning Coach Team Lead
Lead provides leadership, guidance, and support to a team of Learning Coaches to ensure instructional quality, student engagement, and adherence to schoolwide expectations. This role bridges communication between administration, teachers, and coaches while modeling best practices in classroom support and student development. Serve as the primary point of contact between administration and the Learning Coach team. Provide ongoing training, coaching, and professional development for team members.
HISD Dyad Travel Campus Liason
The HISD Dyad Travel Liaison serves as the primary coordinator and point of contact for all student travel experiences connected to the Dyad program. This role ensures smooth planning, communication, and execution of local and international travel opportunities, while prioritizing student safety, academic enrichment, and family engagement.
McReynolds Middle school (July 2023 - July 2024)
Within the year at McReynolds, I implemented programs and organizations to help create a positive atmosphere. One program being PBIS (Positive Behavior Integration Systems) which include creating school matrices throughout the building and a reward system for those that successfully and consistently abided, This provided me the opportunity to open the very first school store also known as “The Cave” where students were able to purchase different incentives using “Bear Bucks” I was also able to successfully implement an organization named MOD known as Men of Distinction. The purpose of this organization is to help our young men learn and practice life skills such as goal setting, academic excellence, wellness, respect for others, etiquette and manners, determination, conflict resolution, community service, and other interpersonal skills useful for being successful in life. Lastly, I achieved and obtained the honorable award of Support Staff of the Year.
I have experience assisting students, allowing them to succeed in their educational process while implementing and educating them on proper ways to behave within the school environment. Also, my understanding of their individual needs allows me to develop a good rapport with them. Other than the student community, I also establish and create effective relationships within the faculty and community to help serve the school further. During my tenure here at Aragon, Iʼve implemented techniques and strategies used as a model for other secondary schools within our school district.
