  • Duties: Repair, maintain and repair heavy mobile equipment such as mobile cranes, construction, agriculture, automotive, dozers, dump trucks, trailers, boats, ATV,s, UTV,s, Kalmar container handlers, road sweepers, industrial mowers, and AWP’s. Assess each job for additional repairs that are needed. Troubleshoot problems and then organize the materials needed and labor time required to perform repair work. Consistently inform my work leaders and supervisor of all additional repairs required to make each piece of equipment perform safely and as designed to. Perform advanced hydraulic system troubleshooting and repair, engine overhauls, transmission repair, differential repair, planetary gearbox overhauls, among many other complex repairs. Extensive experience in hydraulic systems. Utilize the computer software Jaltest to diagnose fault codes and system analysis. I am the main crane mechanic at my current position as I have extensive experience working on cranes for Crane Maintenance at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and was a licensed Category 2/3 crane operator. Duties: Completed the apprenticeship program in 2017. In my first year I quickly gained opportunities for advanced mechanical jobs as management learned that I had strong mechanical skills from my previous two decades of mechanical experience. As my career here excelled, I became a Mechanical Work Leader in 2019 leading crews on all job assignments coaching and mentoring the planning, organization, work procedures, and very importantly, all safety aspects such as Lock-out/Tag-out, HEC controls, working from AWP’s, operating cranes, forklifts, etc.

Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanical Work Leader for Portal cranes, Mobile cranes, Bridge cranes, and all Category 3 cranes. Plan and execute the repair of all types of heavy mobile equipment. Extensive engine rebuilding experience in several fields including motorcycles, automotive, ATV's, Personal Watercraft, outboard engines, and diesel engines.
