  • Operations Manager for municipal waste services serving 92,000 + residents, including garbage, recycling, yard waste and bulk.
  • Lead a team of 85 staff (5 Route Managers, 5 helpers, 1 Non DOT driver, 1 Operations Support Specialist and 73 CDL drivers).
  • Built the Port Saint Lucie FCC district from the ground up, started with only one building and steadily became one of the best FCC districts in the US.
  • This district is continually recognized for being in the TOP 3 of Operations Scorecards for FCC, #1 Q4, 2024 AND #2 Q1, 2025.
  • Work with HSE ensuring all driver and employee's are in compliance with FMCA. Ensures all employee monthly drug / alcohol testing is completed.
  • Maintains OSHA files and training records, ensures all training is presented and documented.
  • Ensures all 3rd eye events are reviewed and coached out as necessary with drivers. Very knowledgeable on the use of 3rd eye capabilities and functions.
  • Has supported leadership and training to two start up districts, St. Johns County, Florida and Buncombe, North Carolina.
  • District created an Operations Productivity worksheet which abled us to track driver times and all operational information needed to ensure productivity is being monitored and goals achieved and / or met.
  • Used information identified on our Operations Productivity worksheet which enabled us cut and or reduce wasted driver times due to driver behavior or routing issues.
  • Have collaborated on 2 re-routes for this district, currently working on one now using zignex (routing planner).
  • Implemented best practices here at the district which greatly enhanced our safety and productivity.
  • Working knowledge of NAVUSOFT, exposed to it in Buncombe, NC, PSL does not use tablets as of yet.
  • Supervised operations staff and kept employees compliant with company policies and procedures.
  • Tracks regular and overtime hours using our Operations Productivity worksheet , analyzes opportunities to reduce overtime hours
