Additional Information

I have been involved in the construction industry for over 40 years starting at the age of 14 working for my uncle's construction company in North Carolina. The company was a joint effort with my 3 uncles, one was the money source, one was an engineer (with his plumbing and electrical license) and one ran the crew on a daily basis. During high school, I worked at my stepfather's appliance shop in Caldwell, ID. Repairing appliances and during the same time, I cleaned up Tri-City's meat plant in Eagle, ID. After I got out of the Air Force I got a job with Gary Carpenter as a construction laborer, when he started to retire I began working with my father-in-law doing flooring. After a few months learning from him I went out on my own as a subcontractor to numerous stores, Nampa Floors, Cost Less, etc. After working as a subcontractor for almost 30 years I had the opportunity to build a new custom home for someone and I made the jump to being a full-on general contractor. I have been building houses for almost 5 years now with one finishing up in McCall at the beginning of November. While I do like running my own construction business, there is a lot of work to it- from bidding, ordering, supervising subcontractors, site work, etc. I am ready to make the transition to being part of a team that needs someone that has a vast amount of construction experience on every level. And while I am older, I still am physically fit enough to do tile and trim work on my latest house build in McCall. I am that person for your team!
