Seasonal Foreman Duties

• Manage and oversee seasonal or part-time employees, under the direction of the Deputy Director of Public Works
• Educate seasonal workers on essential laborer duties, efficient work strategies, and the importance of an ethical working mindset
• Observe and correct work done by seasonal employees
• Assist the Deputy Director by participating in interviews, creating short and long-term objectives for seasonal workers and the department, and suggesting possible changes and ideas to better the town

Laborer Duties

• Ensure all public garbage cans along roadways, parking lots, and beaches are checked and changed daily
• Maintain public lawns, parks, properties, and buildings
• Early morning beach raking with tractor
• Install town signs and structures
• Operate heavy machinery
• Use hand and power tools
• On-call availability to work on weekends or after standard hours
• Directly responsible for the appearance, cleanliness, and function of the town and its properties

• Provide potential life-saving care and first aid
• Maintain pool and swimming area
• Maintained CPR certification during employment
