My first 3 years professionally, I worked in Kampala, Uganda (1986-1989) at Makerere University. I have taught high school social studies for 32 years, including work in Davenport Schools (11 years), Torreon Coahuila, Mexico (1 year) Ames Schools (20 years). I have also coordinated, planned and led service learning projects for high school and college students in eastern Uganda.
