United Champions League

The United Champions League (or "UCL" for short) is an online, global, community with well over 100 members dedicated towards running a bi-annual competitive Pokemon experience that's been operating actively since 2014.

The UCL started as a group of myself, and some friends playing a game amongst each other, and is now an active, online, global community with members from states spanning the US, and countries like China, India, the United Kingdom, Venezula, and more. Personally, I ran the community alone seasons seven through ten (about two years). After taking on a moderator team in season 11, I gave the project to one of my moderators in early 2021 for Season 12, and remain active as a participant. We are now entering season 15 .

As Commissioner my duties were:

- Maintaining Excel Spread Sheets with advanced understanding/functionality through this time, and remain on record.

- Relayed match results to the league in a timely, and clear manor, often in the form of YouTube Content with a collaborator.

- Interact individually with all members helping them competitively optimize their rosters, while giving them the freedom to experiment in what interests them.

- Worked closely monitoring, and leading a team of like-minded individuals to agree on a rule-set, and tiering/balancing system that has been applauded by past/current members, and members of other leagues alike.

- Developed an online presence in the Pokemon community.

- Made judicial decisions based on any disagreements between player.

- Maintained a schedule that was consistent for the members, yet flexible to the needs of the individual.

- Over-saw, and made content related to events in the form of promotional videos, written "lore" or fantasized retelling of current events withing the community, "sports-like" casting of matches, ESPNesque review shows; often with a guest on most episodes, contributed the design team assisting with logo creation, and content visuals, and editing. Featured on multiple songs produced by members of the league spanning the genres of Rap, to Broadway musical.
