Conduct permanent / semi-permanent installs and continuing operational support, monitoring, and maintenance of CUAS systems in a variety of locations / environmental conditions to support client CUAS operational requirements
Make recommendations to the CUAS PM for equipment modifications / upgrades based on experience gained through testing and operational use of CUAS systems
Deploy overseas locations to perform technical inspections, system checks, fault diagnosis, identify cause of failures, and replace Least Replaceable Unit(LRU), test and restore CUAS systems to full functionality Conduct basic programming of CUAS systems (install / upgrade loadsets, firmware, software upgrades, etc.)
Federal Fiber Maintenance is responsible for splicing and testing all fiber within the program network. Splice and test fiber as directed for Operations & Maintenance related activities and responding to emergency events: Perform annual dark fiber testing. Perform routine repair activities, such as repairing cable grounds, to ensure cable routes are properly located. Perform route surveillance activities when tasked. Technicians perform maintenance on existing cables, including evaluation tests and repairing old or malfunctioning cables. Technicians cut and splice fiber optic cables, locate problem areas, and perform other repairs as needed.
Variable work shifts, 24/hr on call, identify/trouble shoot/repair emergency fiber outages, Otdr readings, understanding of cwdm/dwdm, understanding of RF, metro-e technologies, fiber to home systems, reading splicing matrix, aerial/underground/building fiber installments/routes. Knowledge of Comcast, sentel, level 3, fiber systems, headend wiring, ribbon splicing, multiple splicing enclosure/termshelfs. Maintain stock and keep a clean work truck.
Installing and terminating disconnects, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with local codes and regulations.
Worked with a variety of materials including PVC conduits, copper wiring, aluminum wiring and MC cables.
Read and interpreted blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical documents for installation of new systems. Connected cables from service entrance to meters and main distribution panel boards.
Managed inventory restocking and acquisition of new accounts, coordinating delivery logistics with other drivers and warehouse staff to ensure prompt battery supply.
Resolved any customer complaints promptly and professionally. Monitored stock levels on route trucks to ensure accuracy of inventory counts.
Data Center, Setting switch gear, preparing and setting liquid filled transformers, wiring transformers, working with high voltage equipment, doing final checks for Quality control, reading electrical blueprints
Management of pipe and duct bank runs, ordering materials, receiving and ordering electrical equipment, taking material inventory, basic rigging, floor and wall systems, electrical readings.
