Reviewed the damaged area/areas with the customer and made sure who their insurance company is. Took photos of the vehicle related damage, unrelated damage, and the rest of the condition of the vehicle. Wrote the estimate and reviewed it with the customer, explained parts usage according to their insurance company, and scheduled the repair date.
Greeted the customer when they dropped off their vehicle for repairs and called their rental company for the customer so they could come pick them up(if they had rental on their policy). Re-reviewed the estimate and completion date with the customer and had them sign the authorization for repairs for their vehicle.

Checked in parts but the number on the part to the invoice to make sure they matched, opened all parts to make sure they weren't damaged, labeled all parts with the customer's last name and repair order number, and stored all parts in the parts room or outside bin.
Billed parts out can checked to make sure they matched the estimate. If they didn't make the suggested change on the estimate for the estimator to review and make changes. If a part showed up incorrect or damaged, would take photos for the estimating system so the insurance company could see why the change to different part was made on the estimate. Attached all outside vendor invoices, glass companies, and paint-less dent repair companies.
Ordered all parts for the vehicles scheduled in for repairs so they would be here when the vehicle arrived for repairs.
