*Help write and apply for wetland delineations and permits with the state and federal government.

*Conduct Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments.

*Conduct site visits to determine the limits of aquatic resources for feasibility studies and delineations.

*Determine whenever a hydrologic drainage feature is a stream, then classify the stream using the N.C. Stream assessment method.

*Conduct due diligence reports, including cultural and T&E reports.

*Provided technical assistance to other departments regarding environmental concerns, including nutrient, and mitigation bank credit letters.

*Log rock and soil samples taken from borings.

*Measure subsurface water table elevations.

*Create cross sections and reports for engineers.

*Provide recon for field sites.

*Conduct Phase 1 and Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments.

*Collect groundwater and soil samples from shallow borings and wells.

*Create data tables, cross sections, and topographic maps from data.

*Monitor installation of borings and wells.
