Navy and Marine Core Achievement Medal x3

Sonar equipment fails onboard ships quite often and requires experienced technicians to locate and fix the issues within the system. I was awarded these medals for my subject matter expertise in this field for correcting over 20 major casualties which were keeping our sonar system offline or incapable of correct operation in warfighting scenarios. I personally led and supervised 4 technicians in the troubleshooting and corrective procedures which fixed these major issues. I've also worked closely and collaborated with several contractors from around the world to help maintain and correct deficiencies within my system and network for 4 years while serving onboard USS KIDD DDG-100. These contractors included NAVSEA PACNW, NAVSUP, AIT.
