Lead training at Auburn University on Child Maltreatment Forensic Interviewer Trained Forensic Interviewer by the National Child Advocacy Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Interviewed over 500 children regarding sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, or violent crimes.
  • Secured State and Local Grants. Increasing the agency revenue by 15%.
  • Wrote the Lee and Macon County Juvenile Justice Mini-Grant that provided training for MDT team members.
  • Initiated and implemented fundraiser- 2016 Boots and Bowties- which profited $12,000.
  • Engaged with donors to obtain a $50,000 donation, and an additional donation of $8,000 to build a privacy fence for the playground. Developed and conducted community education and trainings programs.
  • Coordinated and directed the multidisciplinary team for two counties. Our MDT team consisted of members of Child Protective Services, Law Enforcement, the Lee County District Attorney's office, Mental Health, our Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE), and CAC staff. We met monthly to discuss a very child interviewed at the Child Advocacy Center. The purpose was to coordinated community services and resources for our families and to discuss any updates on the CPS and law enforcement investigations and potential prosecution of each case.
  • Re-established positive relationships and community partnerships with DHR, Law Enforcement and District Attorney’s office, United Way and Alabama Network of Child Advocacy Center.
  • Created/Managed- 1st annual Child Abuse Awareness Conference-2017.
