I was an on call assistant to this daycare/ preschool. My position would be anything to help open the school to work with the infants to the rooms with the 1’year olds, 2 year olds, 3 year olds, 4 year olds and teaching the kindergarten children. At one point they asked me to be the permanent teacher of the kindergarten class.
In the infants room I took care of the babies up to 1 years old. I fed them, changed their diapers, played with them and also laid them down for naps. All the other classes were about the same. We sang songs, did educational activities, played outside several times a day. They also had art classes and music classes that we took them to. I change their diaper and potty trained them. Snack time and lunches were always fun then it was nap time.
I oversaw the inspection of the products coming in on the trucks and making sure they are being properly processed.
Keep an eye on the employees to make sure my employees are following all the safety precautions. I also have to do paperwork on each employee on their progress each day
I greeted the customers as they came in the store and while they were on the sales floor. If they needed assistance with finding anything I would help them find something. I also was a cashier
which included ringing up a customers items and doing a return.
As a stock room assistant my position was to separate the apparel by pricing and then hard tagging the proper pieces and hang them up by department so when I would put them out on the floor it was easier to do.
Sizing shoes and tagging the along with the luggage.
Greeting the customers with a smile and helping them if they asked for help or just a simple gesture of hello.
Fitting rooms were also a part of it. Besides the basic handing out the number and counting the number of items we also had to clean each
Stall by sweeping each one every hour and cleaning the mirrors as well
Took the children outside to go swimming. I was a certified lifeguard. I taught the children who could not swim how to swim and they were so proud of themselves. They were so excited that they couldn’t wait to show their parents.
