It has been such a gift watching these girls grow form Daisies to now becoming Junior Girl Scouts

I don't know how much longer they will want to be Girl Scouts but I am hoping to encourage them to keep at it even as they get older

• I have watched him develop, meet milestones and have watched him regress. His diagnosis with Autism hasn't been easy on any of us and I am honored my sister and brother in law trust and have faith in me to help them and him on this journey. It has been a year since his diagnosis and I have helped, learned and follow plans to help him in any way possible. He gets services in my home and I watch, learn and listen to what is being done. He trusts me to have his "moments" and trusts me to comfort him when he needs it. We have developed a silent bond and it is bittersweet he will be going to school full time in September

• We work through every emotion possible and build confidence in the girl no matter what
• I have built relationships with all the girls and so fun to listen to their stories and goals

I took on this position right after/during COVID because it needed to be filled and nobody else was taking the position..and I wanted the kids to be able to have great assemblies and feel a sense of normal again

I have currently held this position for 3 Years

I went in blind with not a lot of guidance

I have built relationships with our school districts Insurance Safety Holder, Assistant Superintendent, our schools receptionist, Principal, custodians and security crew

It has been such a rewarding position

Ever time I hear the kids scream and laugh with excitement
