  • Moved large and bulky items manually or with pallet jack on a regular basis.
  • Received in damaged catalytic converters, cut open the converters to retrieve the substrate. If substrate was damaged I'd patch it to save it, If not Id recycle it.
  • I saved Tenneco hundreds of thousands of dollars while in the Reclaim Dept. (According to management team at that time) and being able to move at a high speed made it even better to clean up the big mess that was in there when I arrived.
  • Also during my time in Reclaim our convertor line was having issues reading the barcode on the converters and they could not get them the go through the scanning process to be wrapped, so I created a plan to print out the barcode to tape to converter and it than worked! I helped save lots of money in this dept. as well. (No more declined substrates).
  • Filled out forms for the good and recycled substrates daily than handed in and submitted into the SAP system by our analyst at that time.
