Document all findings, order changes, & patient issues to ensure accurate & up-to-date records are maintained. As Lead Nurse perform EKGs, Vaccines, Physical Assessments when ordered by Medical Director. Complete required documentation for patients pertaining to Health Questionnaire, Adult Nutritional Screening, & Infectious Diseases. Work directly assisting Medical Director with weekly patient visits, while preparing lab testing results & dose records for review. Oversee & train Nursing Staff to ensure that required protocol is followed daily to ensure state & clinic guidelines are contentiously met and active communication within the nursing department as it pertains to relevant program & patient changes are up to date. Receive medication shipments in accordance with DEA and company procedures, acting as an authorized signer. Work closely with treatment team members, functioning as active participant in weekly treatment team meetings. Ensure that treatment center meets all accreditation standards related to Medical, Health, and Safety issues, and other areas as assigned
Assess prospective donors to ensure specific guidelines are met for plasma donation utilizing strict screening procedure, medical & medication history, and physical exam assessment. Provide medical assistance to donors during reaction events. Interview & counsel donors on test results and/or issues with donating. Perform staff vaccinations. Perform required documentation for all services provided according to SOP Guidelines. Assist with plasma machine set-up & breakdowns. Perform donor screenings including weight, vitals, hematocrit & protein levels utilizing all specialized equipment per task. Perform quality control reviews for equipment and area to ensure strict SOP Guidelines are met safety, infection control, and upheld for necessary audits.
