TING ZHANG

Assists in all phases of the activities specified in the program’s daily schedule for the purpose of providing developmentally appropriate services.

Provides an example for students in communication, self-control, and cooperation for the purpose of modeling appropriate social interactions.

Directs individual and small group learning experiences involving remediation and self-help skills (e.g., getting dressed, toilet routines, hand washing, tooth brushing, and housekeeping chores), for the purpose of promoting educational and social development.

Participates with and closely supervises children during activity time, playground activities and emergency drills for the purpose of ensuring safety.

Prepares, serves, and sits with children during meals and snacks for the purpose of promoting healthy food habits.

Encourages positive behavior, and redirects or disciplines consistently for negative behavior based on the teacher’s plan for the purpose of the development of appropriate social interactions.

Attends meetings, trainings, and conferences, for the purpose of staff development and training.

Assists in carrying out parent participation program for the purpose of educating and informing parents of program requirements.

Conducts daily health checks for the purpose of assuring the health and wellbeing of children and staff.
