Utilized video.js player as our team's official web video player and made it an easy-to-use react component, defined the best behavior for different platforms (mobile, web, and TV) based on their features, and optimized it for all platforms.
Implemented the progress tracking feature for video.js using react so that the users can keep track of the progress of the video/audio education materials. Designed the whole progress-related data structure for progress saving, and implemented the API to load and save the progress.
Designed and developed the Memos activity for Bedside TV using react and restful API to allow customers to display any information to the patient as needed, added a fullscreen page to display all memos when it doesn't fit in the sidebar.
Built the Memos editor for users to configure the Memos to show on Memos activity, support more functionalities like customizing the title, changing the font, and duplicating the existing memos, saved 70% of the time to configure memos.
Implemented the feature tracking on Education activity to collect the user usage data to generate the report, customers and the company can use the data to analyze the user behavior and help us determine the future roadmap.
