• Work closely with Engineers, trouble shooting units with great attention to detail
• Work off of engineering drawings while using the current Collins look up tools
• Develop detailed plans based on board guidance and directions
• Repair and Modify boards using ASRP and Modification Standards
• Apply adhesives, underfill, and use multiple tools/equipment including: hot tools, solder pot, and ovens
• Validates manufacturing build processes to ensure compliance with Collins Aerospace quality standards
• Supports design engineering to build new products while adhering to quality standards and practices throughout the build cycle
• Works with management, support staff and program support team to ensure build schedules are attained and deliverables are met
• Mentors new 195ABCs'on build techniques to promotes quality standards and processes.

As a new hire in selective solder my responsibilities were to:

• Perform assembly builds while using the digital work instruction (Eview) to follow/maintain workmanship standards
• Routed boards/units to/from test labs, provided on time deliveries to meet test/final sell goals
• Utilized work instructions, quality documents and on the job mentoring to perform intricate subassembly builds
• Mentored and cross trained with experienced 195D build/repair operators to learn and perform build duties
• Proficient in the use of multiple production machines to include the water was, Integra and Cerno machines.

My responsibilities as a WO Lean Sigma Technician were to:

• Evaluate internal control systems, establish practices and standard operating procedures
• Serve as technical resource to initiate and improve processes
• Lead teams to drive a 30% productivity improvement and a reduction in 4 full-time employees
