Work with birth parents and adoptive parents through the adoption process, complete birth parent and adoptive parent assessments, provide support and resources to families throughout the adoption process, coordinate the transition of adopted children from birth parent to adopted parent, and complete potential adoptive family pre & post placement home visits, adoptee post visits, and home study Assessments.

Supervise and evaluate all personnel, maintain and update program records, prepare written program reports, budgets and modifications, prepare and renew department licenses, contracts, and certifications, review and monitor client and staff records, develop and provide appropriate training for staff, attend department trainings and meetings, and operate programs in accordance with agency, State, and Federal licensing policies and requirements. Provide necessary services and resources to students and families, coordinate and facilitate family involvement meetings, develop and implement lessons for social-emotional groups, and field supervisor for undergrad social work students completing intern hours. Assist with homework, create lesson plans, art projects, and also assist in the Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-K classes as needed.

Worked with women and children residing in the shelter.

Checked families into the shelter nightly, completed intake and discharge planning, developed and implemented the Junior Journey of Hope Program, assisted with children's chapel, case management with clients, assisted with providing clients with needed services and resources, and monitored medication management.

Provided preventive and protective services to vulnerable children and families in Out of Home placement, worked with community agencies to help provide resources for the youth and families in care, provided case management and clinical services to the youth, biological and foster families to help youth adjust and transition to being in a family setting and being productive in the home and community, conducted weekly and monthly foster and biological home visits, monitored client service/treatment plans, transported and supervised biological family visits, and attended client and family meetings such as family involvement, WrapAround MD, Medication Management, therapy, Case Review meetings, and court.

Worked with children placed in the foster care program, their biological and foster families, worked with community agencies to help provide resources for the youth and families in our care, provided case management and clinical services to the clients and foster families to help clients adjust and transition to being in a family setting and being productive in the home and community, conducted weekly and monthly foster home visits with youth and foster families, developed, implemented, and monitored client service/treatment plans, handled on-call crisis intervention calls, and attended client and family meetings such as family involvement, WrapAround MD, Medication Management, therapy, and Case Review meetings.

Provide social work services to the population of frail, elderly and/or handicapped individuals in a daytime group setting, complete intake assessments and discharge planning for clients of the Adult Medical Day program, assist clients with paperwork for outside agencies, attend client meetings, make home visits, work with outside agencies in the care plan of clients and finding appropriate resources for clients and their families, provide case management for the clients and their families or care providers, and assist with treatment planning and assisting clients with achieving goals.

Work with individuals in crisis due to mental health, substance abuse, and/or developmental disability issues, provide crisis intervention, develop assessments and treatment plans, and provide referrals and link clients to community agencies that can provide needed supports.
