• As a Sexual Assault Advocate I’m on call as needed (PRN ) the primary duty is providing emergency, 24/7 response to survivors receiving forensic medical exams for evidence collection , accompany survivors of sexual assault to the Hospital to provide support and resources before, during, and after a forensic medical exam. I am also responsible for answering the 24 hour hotline .
• I am required to submit medical reports to DCFS and/or law enforcement .
• I conduct safety plans with all survivors I assist survivors with accessing transportation and emergency shelter placementsas needed .
• I educate survivors on the criminal justice process and interpreting specific jargon used by other sexual trauma response professionals .
• I provide assistance to survivors in filing applications for crime victims’ reparations I also connect victims with additional services throughout the community as needed.

• I work closely with inmates incarcerated within the Louisiana DOC system .
• I’m primarily responsible for maintaining the custody and security of inmates - in facility buildings, prison dorms, workshops, and/or fields.
• I supervise the housekeeping of inmate housing areas, escorting offenders , perform security searches/shakedowns of offenders and property, living quarters and work locations.
• I am also shotgun & riffle qualified .
• I complete reports of irregularities and disturbances submitted by me or my subordinates.
• Submit tour of duties of the nightly tour of duty.

On call job for youth in local region that are referred to our agency where youth or parents may be in rage, and can't be calmed by person inside of home or school so we are dispatched to the scene attempting to deescalate and investigate the situation inside of home or school.
