Just Foods is a Lawrence-based food pantry that provides free food to struggling members of the community without any financial background checks. I volunteered in the warehouse many times over the summer, organizing inventory, maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse space, and stocking the shelves.
Over the first part of the summer i worked construction in Morris, IL. I worked on a small duplex with a team of 3 other workers. I mostly dug trenches for pipes and built frames for concrete pouring.
Over the summer of 8th grade, I walked the Camino de Santiago, a 500-mile backpacking trip starting in France and going all across Spain. This hike takes extreme mental and physical dedication.
