In 2024 instrumental in the implementation of four new Kardex machines. A high density VLM system.
Worked on implementing the 4 new Kardex (VLM) machines and apps to run them. Worked on the RFID expansion along with Visix and Mojix systems. Involved in several areas where Voice 2 Pick was implemented. (Doors, hinge Handles, Bifold Hardware, Slider Handles) Door Plant lead in the DP50 and MTO projects (2012 Innovator of the Year) Worked on implementing the first stain pre-finish line at Pella. Developed a large part of the Architect Hinge Manufacturing Plan. Lead the 2P teams & followed through with the design and installation of several slab in-lines. Set up the Geetings warehouse to hold and store our vendor management inventory. Lead the 2P for designing and implementing our first IG line in the Door Plant. Have created standard work documents for all final lines and sub-assembly areas in Door Plant. Facilitator on the Designer Casement Line #1 when Value Add was brought to the line and helped in reaching the goal of 500 units on 1st shift.
Award given to the group that implemented the largest break through project in all of the Pella Corporation sites. Our project was making all of our hinge door frame parts as Made to Order (MTO) which saved thousands of dollars of inventory, steady pull from the Lumber Plant all while assuring higher quality parts.
