  • May 2025 Selected as an AACN Beacon Award Reviewer. Responsible for reviewing award applications through 2026.
  • April 2025- Completed a hospital wide Rapid Response Team Performance Improvement Project in 2024. This led to changes in our Hospitalist and residency management and Chief Executive Officer approval for an additional cost center with which draw from for the creation of an APN led, critical care nurse driven Rapid Response Team 2025
  • Ventilator Associated Pneumonia Prevention Project 2024- 2025. Aim: Infection reduction and cost savings. VAP reduction of 80% in CCU and 70% in Step Down units.

  • 2025 Poster Presentation AACN NTI National Conference: Driving an Evidence-Based Culture of Change: One Unit’s 2 Year Journey to Zero Pressure Injuries. PI prevention resulted in over $1 million dollars in cost savings.
  • 2025 Poster Presentation AACN NTI National Conference: 6 Month Pilot Study to Transition to Volume Based Tube Feeding Versus Hourly Rates to Improve Patient Outcomes. Performance Improvement Project completed in conjunction with our critical care dietician. Patients in the study received 96% of their feeding, protein, and calories as prescribed by our dietician. Glucose levels remained between 140 and 160g/dl and we had a 100% reduction in pressure injuries as compared to the previous 6 months before the study.
  • 2025 AACN Sepsis Micro-Credential Certification: Increased Sepsis certification in 84% of all ICU staff resulting in overall reduction in sepsis fall outs in critical care.
