Police Officer/School Resource Officer
4 Months- Patrol the town of Hemingway for traffic/ criminal activity, respond to calls for service, and assist other agencies as needed.
- Building community relationships to ensure safety and security through in-home visits, community outreach, and school events.
- Ensure campus safety and security of Hemingway Middle and High Schools by monitoring children's behavior and body language, as well as all campus video footage.
- Editing camera footage during investigations into smaller clips to attach as video evidence in criminal cases in the Hemingway Police Department documentation software.
- Responsible for developing operations plans for each school event throughout the year through Microsoft 365.
- Completed Field Training for Patrol Class 1 certification.
- Became the lead School Resource Officer for both Hemingway High School and Hemingway Middle School.
Corrections Officer/ Sheriff Deputy
1 Year 3 Months- Utilized Soma Hub to track location and information of public safety call for service.
- Analyzed body and dashboard camera footage to ensure all information was properly documented.
- Tracked additional information by hand and agency issued devices for photo evidence.
- Practiced interpersonal skills, studied body language and evidence to accurately assess the situation and determine safest course of action.

- Obtained South Carolina Class 2 Law Enforcement Certification to become a corrections Officer for Georgetown County Detention Center.
- Managed detention facility security systems, access control operations, inmate accountability, and emergency communications.
