  • Provide timely high seas analysis and forecast, graphical and alphanumeric, to users.
  • When appropriate, coordinates with other parts of NCEP, field offices, and other NOAA units to ensure product compatibility.
  • Acts as lead forecaster when required; actively ensuring that the forecast team is equipped with tools and guidance need to complete timely quality controlled forecast and reports that are compatible with other NOAA units.
  • Successfully served as Supervisory Lead Forecaster (GS-14) to assist division in filling management gaps during supervisory vacancies.
  • Participated in Synergy training at TAFB on several occasions.
  • Was a member of the Products Review Team for a two year period.
  • Has served as the focal point for the Boulder forecast from 2000-present. During this time I facilitated the transfer from a phone based system to a computer based means of voice recording. This switch provided a dramatic increase in the quality of the audio broadcast. It was the single biggest development in over 20 years of providing the boulder broadcast.
  • Assistant graphical verification focal point.
  • As the assistant focal point for Time and Attendance, I coordinated with other staff members to ensure their schedules where correct. When I was involved with the time card process, I made no errors in time card compilation or transmission.
