Results-driven CNC Machinist with a proven track record at CIE Newcor MTG, excelling in precision measurement and team training. Enhanced production accuracy and reduced operational interruptions through effective troubleshooting and collaboration with quality control teams. Committed to fostering excellence and improving product reliability in fast-paced environments.
Worked at an inspection company before joining a CNC factory in St Johns in 2003 then moved to MTG in 2014. Have been there since.
I am looking to further my education as I feel the current company is not offering growth.
Have been an operator, heat treat auxiliary tech, supervisor, then I stepped down to a Machine tech.
I understand fanuc programming, with little training I could most likely write programs.
In my current tech position we are responsible for part change overs and tooling and hardware changes. We have to constantly troubleshoot and alter programs to meet very tight tolerances.
Have had to work with engineering and customers to set up machines and robotic cells.
Can read and understand robot pendants and trouble shoot issues.
When I was a quality control tech I had use both manual and automatic CMM machines and learn GD&T, and read blueprints, so I have a good understanding in that as well.
