Hired, trained and supervise a staff of over 100, reviewing work for accuracy. Evaluate personnel and counsel on areas which may require improvement I compute and produce payroll for over 100 employees. I provide timecard review for accuracy and completeness. As a customer/company liaison, I provide extensive service and follow- up. I can assess and resolve a wide range of customer/employee issues I will conduct all inventories; Investigate and complete computer justification.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Kitchen/Resource Center Manager has a number of duties.
Successful kitchen managers guide kitchen staff/volunteers to deliver quality, timely food and ensure that
all customers are satisfied. Some of the main duties of kitchen manager include:
● Ensuring that all food items and products are stored, prepared and served based on the GRIP’s
recipe, preparation and portion standards
● Evaluating and disciplining kitchen personnel accordingly and making employment and
termination decisions
● Ordering kitchen materials and ingredients based on the menu and market demand
● Supervising food preparation in the kitchen and ensuring that customers are satisfied
● Maintaining clean working environments and making sure that employees follow the restaurant’s
preventive maintenance measures
● Maintaining adequate inventory levels and conducting weekly inventories
● Working with the lead chef to create menu items
● Scheduling shifts by business hours, days, and occasions
● Overseeing the training of employees/volunteers to ensure the safe operation of kitchen
equipment and utensils and the proper handling of heavy items and hazardous materials
● Preparing and adhering to a budget
● Recruiting and managing volunteers
● Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
On the resource center side of the house, this person will oversee the showers, laundry, mail, toiletries,
clothes, and computer facilities. Some of the main duties of the resource manager include:
● Maintaining working and clean bathroom/showers, laundry, and computer facilities
● Allowing clients to use our facilities in an orderly manner
● Collecting, sorting and distributing mail to our clients
● Distributing toiletries, clothes, cleaning supplies, and other resources from our ‘mini-mall’
● Recording data on who and how often our facilities are used
● Preparing reports
● Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
