I have29 years hands on experience in the material handling business doing service, sales, developing new accounts, establishing new territories and management.
In 2014 I left the material handling business to venture out on my own and start my own business doing home remodeling and handyman work. I started from the ground up and to date have grown the business nearly double every year since. I've established a team of regular subcontractors and developed relationships with 6 home interior designers where we have a steady stream of 2-3 remodels going on at one time with normally a 2-3 month booked customer deposits waiting to start. I also have a number of realtors, referral's and repeat customers that use us for the handyman side of the business for punch list repairs
Recently I've been reviewing where I want to be in 10 years. Although this is a lucrative business it does have it's drawbacks as an owner operator which is why lately I've been re-evaluating my next 10 years of this business.
