I have over 40 years of experience working as a community planner, serving in Monroe, Livingston and Washtenaw Counties. My tenure at the Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission included serving as Superintendent of Park Planning, Deputy Director and Coordinator of the Natural Areas Preservation Program. I have been an active community volunteer since my retirement from the Commission, including serving as a member of the Michigan Folk School Board of Directors. I believe there is an important role for community advocates and I enjoy my time and commitment in that role.
