I am a 35 year old welder/fitter that has been in the trade for 16 years.
My welding experience consists mostly of mig welding. I do consider myself an all position welder. I learn quickly and like to work as efficiently as possible. I do take a great pride in my work, although, I am not one to brag. I really try to stay humble. If there is anything i have learned in my experiences, it's that there is always someone better so stay willing to take in more information. But above all, every project deserves the best you can do.
I started my career in 2005, at Evans Metal Fabrication, by 2012 I worked myself into the swing shift forman position. I soon realized that I was topped out in position and opportunities at Evans. So on 10/18/2013, I started at Pierce Pacific Manufacturing. I am still currently working at Pierce as a welder/fitter/ robotic welding operator.
Peirce took me and my skills, and fine tuned them into something pretty great.
Besides all the fitting experience that Peirce has given me they have sent me to a Crosby Rigging Corse, an Annual CPR Training Corse and an Annual Fire Safety Training Class.
I have completed the Wolf Robotics Operators Corse and Lincoln Eclectic Basic Programming Corse.
I have been working with a 6 axis Wolf robot for a little over 5 years. My main duty was as an Operator but I have done some basic programming.
Over my years at Evan's I learned a lot. I started there fresh out of high school. Evan's molded me into a hard worker, someone who leads by example and is a man of his word.
I started at Evan's very young, I learned quickly and worked hard. Soon I moved my way up departments and positions to the Race Team Lead. In that position I leaned to train others, which has proved invaluable to my work. I also learned how to accommodate travel for work, as race team traveled to Iowa Speedway every year. I continued to grow in information and performance and it didn't take long to work my way into the swing shift Forman Position.
Over time I had run out of options for growth and continued knowledge at Even's so I decided to find another shop with more opportunities for me.
I am a 35 year old man with a Wife and two Sons. We are buying our house and I have a good credit score. I have had steady job's since high school, and I always give 100%. I am still looking to learn new skills and further my success in life.
I believe I would be a great asset to your company and I would love the opportunity to prove my knowledge, strengths and motivation.
Thank you and have a Great Day!
