I am a dynamic educator excelling in leadership and strategic program development. Although I am a classroom teacher I was thrust into multiple leadership roles not frequented by teachers after our principal was diagnosed with ALS. During her two year fight I leveraging data-driven initiatives, strong communication, and an abundance of energy to further our schools vision in spite of our lack of administration. I strive to make everyone in our community feel valued in capable with leads to student success and retention. Most importantly I am committed to ongoing professional growth and empathetic engagement with myself and others in the understanding that there is so much growth possible.

Commitment to Professional Growth - I actively pursue professional development by attending annual AVID conferences (since 2022), working toward a National Institute for STEM Education (NISE) endorsement, and obtaining a Teacher Mentorship Endorsement to further strengthen expertise in educational leadership I have a deep commitment to personal reflection and growth through constructive criticism
Energy and Empathy - I believe giving 100% is the minimal threshold, and that nothing is worth doing unless you are willing to go for it all the way This is not possible without a lot of energy, commitment, and empathy for oneself and others
