My day usually varies from 8 to 12 hours depending on the route

• Collected and disposed of trash and debris.
• Tested utility systems for leaks, breaks, or other irregularities.
• Kept work area clean, neat, and well-stocked to maximize productivity.
• Repaired signs and fences quickly to avoid accidents and mishaps.
• Used flags to warn motorists about hazards, obstacles and workers ahead.
• Followed safety precautions to avoid personal injury and provide safe work environment

• Conferred with dispatch to relay delays, receive route, and adjust plans to meet daily targets.
• Kept vehicles well maintained and clean for pleasant passenger experiences.
• Completed preventive maintenance checks and basic repairs to vehicles.
• Dealt positively with first responders and emergency personnel during road emergencies.
• Inspected trucks prior to beginning routes to verify safe operating conditions.
• Communicated with dispatchers concerning delays, unsafe sites, accidents, equipment breakdowns and other maintenance problems.
• Verified assigned truck fully-fueled and safe to operate and required paperwork on board before leaving yard.
• Aware of my surroundings while and before entering any area to prevent any problems when servicing the customers garbage can

• Took measurements and studied floor sketches to calculate area to be floored and amount of materials needed.
• Installed carpet , laminate and vinyl flooring for multiple residential and commercial clients.
