Directional Drilling Crew

• Driver/ Laborer
• Hydro excavation/ Potholing for underground utilities
• Safely transporting, loading/ unloading heavy machinery
• General maintenance of heavy machinery and other equipment
• Digging Trenches/ spotting the operator
• Pipe Laying
• Clearing established pipes full of water/debris with vac, placing fiber optic cables in pipes.
• Set hand holes, pedestals, water boxes, assisted with setup and placement of new manholes using excavator
• Some concrete/ Mortar work

80% of my job was assisting HDD (potholing, transporting equipment, the other 20% miscellaneous underground utility work. I feel like I have a pretty solid general knowledge of underground utilities, but am anxious to keep learning and growing.

I got a DUII in July 2019, my license and CDL were suspended so this was a job to get me by until my license was reinstated.

I spent the majority of this time in Prineville working on an Epoxy Crew at the Facebook Data Center.

Working knowledge of epoxy process, polishing machines, joints, mortar mix, general power tools, etc.

Experience working at a major construction site was probably my biggest takeaway here.

I got my license reinstated on August 7th so I'll be moving on to greener pastures.

• Safely delivered materials to contractors and residential customers
• 80,000 lb GVW
• Completed daily logs and inspections of vehicle
• 40-60 hour work weeks
• Knife River was a good company to work for, I learned a lot about professionalism and what goes into working for a big corporation like that.

• Dump Truck Driver
• 70,000 lb GVW
• Lots of good work experience here.
• Learning the etiquette of driving in construction zones, more often then not around bikes and pedestrians.
• Being able to stay calm and safe in stressful situations.
• I left this job to find something better (better pay/retirement plan)

• Performed daily Pre/Post Trip inspection of trucks.
• Used Software on phones to log daily activity/process payments.
• Provided Customer Service to customers: answering questions, helping them in any way I could.
• A shred truck operates very similar to a garbage truck, I shred paper for around 15 customers a day, all over the northwest, from Battleground down to Salem.

Med Waste Route:

• Performed daily pre-trip / post-trip inspection of truck.
• Hauled Medical Waste from local hospitals, other medical centers.
• Kept a log of all Medical Waste Tubs I removed/delivered.

Yard Worker:

• Pressure Washed / Organized Roll-Carts.
• Kept the Drivers Room clean / Swept Floors.
• Picked up loose trash in lot.
• Drove flatbed truck to deliver roll carts, and pick up bulky items (couches/furniture/televisions)

• Displayed enthusiasm and knowledge about the restaurant's menu and products.
• Routinely supported other areas of the restaurant as requested, including answering telephones and completing financial transactions for other staff members.
• Inspected kitchens to observe food preparation quality and service, food appearance and cleanliness of production and service areas.
• Prepared food items consistently and in compliance with recipes, portioning, cooking and waste control guidelines.
• Opened the store at 4:00 am.
• Routinely cleaned the restaurant and did the dishes.

• Checked vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment was in working order
• Hauled waste from residential and commercial locations.
• Successfully avoided time delays by carefully planning best routes.
• Inspected and maintained vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition
• Reported any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles
