My name is Tomas Prout, thank you in advance for your consideration and time. I have a background in commercial driving, underground utilities, and reinforcing ironworking. I'm currently an apprentice for local 29 ironworkers union, I love it, but work has slowed down here the last couple months and I dont like that. I'm reliable, hard working, motivated and trainable. I have a class A CDL with tankers (no tractor trailor but would be willing to aquire if needed)
Union apprentice rebar job. Lots of packing and tying. Some blueprint reading.
Directional Drilling Crew
80% of my job was assisting HDD (potholing, transporting equipment, the other 20% miscellaneous underground utility work. I feel like I have a pretty solid general knowledge of underground utilities, but am anxious to keep learning and growing.
I got a DUII in July 2019, my license and CDL were suspended so this was a job to get me by until my license was reinstated.
I spent the majority of this time in Prineville working on an Epoxy Crew at the Facebook Data Center.
Working knowledge of epoxy process, polishing machines, joints, mortar mix, general power tools, etc.
Experience working at a major construction site was probably my biggest takeaway here.
I got my license reinstated on August 7th so I'll be moving on to greener pastures.

I am looking forward to learning new things and taking the next step in my career Would be very excited about any opportunities at in house apprenticeships kind of thing If not, not a deal breaker Good pay, good work environment, decent benefits and a general opportunity to learn new skills are just as valuable to me
