The National Eyebrow Raise Initiative

https://www.facebook.com/EyebrowRaise shows current social issues geared to the kindergarten crew. The TikTok generation has no time for long cinematic video trailers. This is how they’re reached. By keeping posts short and sweet, they understand the assignment, and are motivated to share, to help others understand, and to cause the pebble of cognition to ripple even further.

ELM Tree Business Coaching

https://www.facebook.com/elmtreebusinesscoaching focuses on success stories for engagement with potential coaching clients. It includes an email campaign, reels and visual story posts. This page puts the viewer into the story, helping them to visualize their own greater success.

Surf Splash

https://surfsplash.com/blogs/best-outdoor-shower-surf-splash is a link to blogs I’ve written. I manage their social media, perform website updates, run ads, manage Google, etc. This is an example of positioning a product as the clear leader in its field.

Tomorrow Leonard

https://www.facebook.com/megcolehale/ is my personal Facebook  page. I use it for engagement with friends, clients and potential clients It contains mainly light humor, including AI assisted image rendering. Many of my clients are older, and need help online. These reels, stories, photos, shares, and designs reach my potential clients’ demographic well.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • I’m prepared to thrive in this role, and this is what I have:
  • My effort at www.EyebrowRaise.com can be used as an example of my strong commitment to Common Cause’s nonpartisan mission and to advancing civil rights through our pro-democracy agenda.
  • I have created content since Tom was our first friend, and I have developed a strong knowledge of content creation best practices, as well as a creative approach to using visual, written, and video formats. *I’m duplicating portfolio information at the bottom of this section.
  • In my role as remote assistant to several concurrent businesses, I had to develop the ability to work in a fast-paced, rapid response environment. It was necessary for me to learn to manage and meet deadlines for multiple short- and long-term priorities at once, with high attention to detail; one misspelled word online can be a deal breaker. It took developing strong organization skills, and the ability to manage my time independently, ensuring that each task was completed on time for all clients at all levels.
  • The magic of social media advertising is undoubtedly the ability to compel action through both written and verbal communication. It’s especially rewarding when you include distilling complex concepts into engaging and accessible storytelling for a broad audience. It’s also important to understand and to differentiate communications as needed for various audiences. Many times your content will remain the same, but the actual post will vary in content and design by platform.
  • First there was Tom, and then there was Mark. And one by one, contenders grappled for the king of the social media hill. In order to stay on top of my game it was necessary to develop a demonstrated ability to stay ahead of emerging social media trends, platforms, algorithms, and tools, and translate that knowledge into strategies that expand reach, engagement, and impact with priority audiences. Clients have heard of new options but they don’t have time or expertise to compare oranges to apples. I’ve needed to be able to both explain and show the differences and similarities in new options.
  • My first management job was over forty years ago. Over the years, I have honed a track record of working collaboratively with others, with the ability to build rapport, trust, and credibility with multiple stakeholders with diverse interests.I spent years as a manager, supervisor, and corporate buyer in retail. Learning to communicate with people who often have opposing interests, and being accountable, credible and reliable is an essential part of my background experience.
  • I’ve previously worked at a hospital and a courthouse.. From communicating with Doctors and Judges to patients and suspects, I learned to navigate organizational and power dynamics, respectfully navigating conflict while maintaining my values. I find more success in influencing others to adopt changes to meet common goals happens when communication delivers comprehension.
  • I think outside the box, inside the box, over, under and around all the boxes and highly respect innovative and strategic thinking skills. The ability to navigate through ambiguity to achieve goals, and a resourceful approach to solve problems is what keeps me in the position of creating for my clients.
  • My work is my art and I love it. I have a strong commitment to equity in the goals of your work and in how I work with others. I strive to be recommended by being reliable, resourceful and respectful.
  • The person who thinks they know everything is a real pain to be around. Over the years I’ve developed a fondness for, and an openness to feedback and awareness of my own strengths and areas for growth.
  • I believe the best results are achieved when the best tools are used. I regularly spend time updating my education to include new information in my portfolio. I am constantly honing my familiarity with office productivity tools including Microsoft Office and Zoom, Canva and AI, Google Drive and Adobe.
