I have always been interested in the transformational power of education to change lives for the better. Working at Costanoa High School has been a wonderful experience. Building relationships with the students and witnessing their growth has been incredibly rewarding. My motivation is also driven, not only by my broad set of experiences, but the love for my four year old son. Becoming a father has deepened my understanding of the need for good teachers. My motivation to become a teacher is rooted in my desire to help form the learning skills, character, and dreams of the youth. I want to equip young people with critical skills in thinking and analyzing the multiple perspectives of history.
