Managed the medical section for the battalion. Education and medical training for 625 soldiers. We had 37 medics whom we kept trained in combat life-saving. Need training. I controlled all morphine inventory and ordering. Reporting used morphine and any losses to the division chief. Used EMR from the United States and Warrior Edition that was uploaded to the Pentagon daily. Maintain 40 pelican cases to set up a battalion aid station or MASH setup to triage, initiate antibiotics, and provide pain control. Transport by helicopter to a military hospital.
