  • As part of the leadership teams for Geriatric Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine, I am responsible for assisting in the administration of the fellowship programs as outlined in the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Program Requirements
  • Additionally, I interact with the GME Department to initiate processes and requirements in a timely manner to maintain accreditation of our programs
  • I also attend national conference(s) to remain abreast of changes in accreditation
  • These processes consist of: Recruitment process via ERAS and Zoom for interviews
  • Onboarding process for new fellows in conjunction with the GME Department
  • PLAs for various sites
  • Security access for various sites
  • Schedule required training such as EPIC, New Innovations
  • Rotation, curriculum, and other schedules uploaded to New Innovations, Canvas make changes as necessary
  • Quarterly evaluation meetings to ensure that fellows are meeting their milestones as required by ACGME
  • Conference scheduling and reimbursements for fellows
  • Coordination of Clinical Competency Committee meetings to evaluate fellow milestone performance
