My brother Brandon and I started a 7,700-acre private hunting unit. The unit is the Iron Spring CWMU.
This unit is in cooperation with the Utah Fish and Game.
We have 10 mule deer tags and 2 antelope tags that we receive each year. We have to put one mule deer and one antelope tag in the state draw system. We get to sell 9 mule deer tags and 1 antelope tag each year.
We have five licensed hunting guides who are mostly family members that help us with this.
We coordinate with the Utah Fish and Game each year on cleanup projects to help the Fish and Game with the Dedicated Hunter Program. This does two things: it helps keep our West Hills clean from trash because of the close proximity to the Iron County landfill. And it makes a better habitat for the mule deer and antelope.

I have owned and managed Barney Brothers Electric INC. for over 25 years with my brother, Brandon.
We started this company with just the two of us. We now have 34 employees.
We have helped with the electrical design on numerous complicated electrical systems.
We specialize in complicated water and sewage pump stations. These included the purchase and installation of variable frequency drives. We have also installed a tremendous amount of controls and control systems for very complex systems.
We have wired large commercial buildings, including five-story buildings.
Some of our work includes the new Hampton Inn on Main Street in Cedar City, Utah.
Founders Hall, Gateway Apartments, Iron West Apartments, Cafe Sabor, Amber Kay's, 2nd East, and too many houses to count.
We have installed and serviced all kinds of water-pumping systems on large farms. Including pivots.
We have also wired several gas stations, and the new bulk filling station for KB Oil.
Over the 25 years that I have owned Barney Brother Electric, I have acquired a great knowledge in the construction field. I feel this would be a great asset in helping me to be qualified to do this job.
We have had several lighting maintenance contracts, one with Cedar City, and one with Enoch City.
We also maintain all of Cedar City's water department pumps and pump stations, and we also help Enoch with their water pumps and pumping stations.
We have maintained the Cedar City Waste Water Treatment Plant for over 25 years. With the experience that we have gained in working with these systems, we have gained a great deal of knowledge on how the piping systems work in these systems.
