As a Structural Mechanic for Com Aviation I was hired and selected to be part of a 6 man team to modify and convert a Boeing 737 airliner from a Commercial passenger Aircraft to a Air freighter. The noted job required the removal of over 100 passenger seats,and all the related hardware as well as the seat tracks, floor boards and side walls. The job also included re-installation of cargo tracks and panels. the modification consisted of the installation of a new pneumatic cargo door which included the removal of numerous longs,stringers and bulkheads as well as the new installation of the cargo door with all of the numerous Fasteners, hydraulic installations and skin panels. Using all the job related tools and chemicals, All the noted assignments and modifications were done on time and under budget and was conforming as per the numerous engineering drawings,technical publications and test flights as per FAA regulations
