  • Commercial and residential billing, including late, donation, and final billing.
  • File the business sales tax for all boroughs, and maintain the business licenses.
  • Track and organize late payments. Send out letters and emails warning that accounts are past due, and shut down accounts that have not paid. Prepare the now closed accounts to send to collections.
  • Refund accounts after they have been closed down, or if someone has paid in error and needs their credit cards refunded, I am the one who does that.
  • I do the mass texting, such as: autopay did not go through, late fees are coming up, NTC letters will be going out, bins are about to be removed for non-payment, and routes will be late due to weather.
  • Post driver routes daily.
  • Close the daily cash batches and reconcile the credit card charges.
  • Process EFT payments and refunds.
  • When I have downtime, I review existing accounts to ensure there are no issues, such as incorrect taxes or incorrect addresses. If there are old refunds hanging out, or balances due, I will investigate and take care of them.
  • Track sales tax over $500 in customer accounts, so I can pay taxes.
  • In accounting, I do apply and unapply.
  • I run all the auto pays monthly, RCC/EFT.
  • I am the first one in, so I check the drivers' routes for any errors.
  • Sequence routes, reincrimate routes, and create new routes.
  • Review trash overage charges.
  • Clean the office.
  • Respond to customers' emails.
