  • I perform a variety of tasks including answering phones, talking to parents/students, organizing files/papers, credit analysis, credit recovery process, planning large events such as graduation and senior awards night, as well as organizing all local scholarships
  • Created a safe place for students to talk, often becoming the sounding board for students and triaging them to the Guidance Counselor/Mental Health Provider/Administration depending on the specific requests.
  • Maintained a welcoming office environment conducive to open dialogue between students and staff members alike.
  • Managed confidential student records with accuracy and care, maintaining privacy standards as required by law.
  • Created resources detailing available scholarship opportunities to maximize financial aid accessibility for graduating seniors.
  • Served as liaison between parents, teachers, and administration to foster open communication channels and resolve conflicts effectively.

  • I was a trip leader to summer camps at Washington Family Ranch and Malibu Camp in Canada for 4 years
  • I planned and held regular 'Club' nights on Monday throughout the school year
  • I raised personal funds to match those being paid by local YL
  • I also coordinated the local Yard Sale Fundraiser.

  • I sat on a variety of community coalitions including Baker County Safe Communities Coalition (Secretary), Local Community Advisory Council (LCAC) (Chair), and on the Baker Youth Activity Center Coalition
  • I wrote grants for the Adolescent Wellness Event/Sports Physicals event held at St
  • Lukes, which was the precedent set for this activity in the state of Oregon
  • This grant also supports the School-Based Health Center located at Baker High School
  • While working as the chair of the LCAC I was able to create a position as the Health Promotion and Prevention Specialist, acquiring grant monies in excess of $90,000
  • In every capacity I strived to create exciting and safe events for the youth of our community to participate in.
