Work History

Amnesty Robotics Floor Monitor (Lead)

Amazon
10.2021 - Current

I was selected to participate in a specialized team that focuses exclusively on Amazon Robotics (AR) operations at MTN1. This role is critical to the success of the robotics floor, and as such, it required me to obtain FAST (Floor Access Safety Training) certification. This certification is essential for safely operating on the robotics floor, where I am responsible for retrieving amnesty items such as fallen packages or other objects. Additionally, I handle the resetting of faulted robotic drives and, when necessary, their safe removal from the floor. These tasks are performed in strict adherence to FAST procedures while wearing the required SRBR vest to ensure maximum safety in the robotics environment.

  • As a lead in the AFM team, I also provide leadership support to Area Managers (AMs) and Process Assistants (PAs) across AR Floors 2, 3, 4, and 5. My leadership role involves supervising and managing associates who perform critical functions during the shift. This includes continuously monitoring AR operations and assigning associates to high-priority areas based on real-time demands. I ensure smooth operations by walking the floors regularly, engaging associates for assistance when needed, and maintaining communication to ensure that tasks are efficiently completed.
  • In addition to floor supervision, I actively monitor the functionality and performance of the AR systems using backend software applications such as MHE, KPI (Key Performance Indicators) dashboards, and MMA/SCADA. By tracking these operational metrics, I can quickly identify and address any issues, redirect resources, and ensure the overall efficiency and safety of the AR operations during my shift.
